We were very proud to sponsor Tim Marshal & Danny O’Reilly in the Jamega Tour Betterball Tournament at Magnolia Park Golf Club this April.

 On a cold blustery day the pair scored a respectable 69 (-4), which left them in tied 22^nd position out of 81 teams, and 5 shots adrift of the winning score 64 (-9).

 Tim Marshal from Zimbabwe, who has been based in Thanet since 2002, turned pro in 2010. Before this Tim was part of the 2000/01 Zimbabwean National Men’s Squad, he also won the Zimbabwean Amateur Championship (2000), and had a runner’s up finish in the South African Amateur Championship (2003).   Tim shall be playing this year on the Jamega Tour and the Euro-Pro Tour.

 Danny O’Reilly turned pro in 2008 and play’s the Jamega Tour and Euro-Pro Tour.   As an amateur Danny was part of the 2007 England Under 21 Squad, had runner up finishes in the Kent Youths Championship and the Kent Amateur Championship (2006).   He achieved a fourth place finish in the South of England Youths Championship (2007) and reached the final stage of British Open Qualifying in 2007.
