We had another fantastic day volunteering at the Balfour Beatty Living Places depot for the Crisp Packet Project. Having supported this initiative before, we were excited to return on the 4th of September to help once again.
This time, we had a large group of volunteers come together to create blankets, pouches, and templates. Lidia took part in making pouches, adding personal touches with heartfelt messages and heart shapes melted into the material.
By the end of the day, our group had made 69 pouches, prepared 74 pouch layouts ready to be sealed, and completed 27 blankets—a great achievement!
The Crisp Packet Project is an inspiring organisation that takes what’s often considered rubbish and upcycles it into survival kits for those in need—supporting both local communities and people overseas.
