Earlier this year, Balfour Beatty Living Places introduced us to a fantastic charity called TechResort, an organisation based in Eastbourne and East Sussex that collects old and unused technology, refurbishes and upcycles it, and redistributes it to those who need it most.
This is our second time donating to TechResort. We had some computer screens gathering dust, and rather than let them go to waste, we decided to give them a new purpose, helping others gain access to digital resources and skills.
Who does Tech Resort help?
- Young people
- The community
- Third Sector
- Business
- Schools and colleges
- Councils and government
What does TechResort do?
Since 2013, TechResort has been helping the community grow their digital skills and confidence. In a world that’s increasingly driven by technology, they provide the tools, knowledge, and training to support anyone looking to learn, adapt, and thrive.
If you have any old tech that you no longer use, consider donating it to TechResort. Your contribution can make a real difference in the community. https://techresort.org/contact/
