We were recently contacted by David at Wilson & Scott, who got in touch to ask if we could help support the Scouts. He shared an incredible opportunity that will make a real difference for young people. Next August, David will be leading a group of 20 Scouts to the internationally renowned KIX 26 Scout Camp in the heart of Switzerland. It’s a huge event that brings together Scouts from all over the world, creating friendships, encouraging learning, and giving young people the chance to grow through shared adventure.
For anyone taking part, this really is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The Scouts will get involved in activities that highlight the core values of Scouting, leadership, teamwork, inclusivity, and global citizenship. It’s a brilliant chance for them to broaden their horizons, pick up new skills, and build connections that could last a lifetime.
David is currently raising donations because the trip does come with a significant overall cost, including:
- Travel
- Accommodation
- Programme fees
- Tents
- Essential gear
