Hi-Way Services Ltd contributed towards the travel and accommodation costs of a road safety professional who has been appointed as Convenor of Working Group 9, supporting the revision of ISO 39001, the international standard for road traffic safety management systems.
The role involves attending formal meetings of the working group and technical committee, including international face-to-face meetings. The next international meeting is due to take place in Mombasa, Kenya, in November 2026.
Our contribution helped support their ability to attend and participate in this important international work. By contributing towards the costs associated with participation, Hi-Way Services is supporting the continued development and improvement of internationally recognised road traffic safety standards.
The work undertaken though ISO 39001 contributes to improving approaches to road safety management and reducing road traffic-related risks, supporting the wider aim of creating safer roads and transport systems.
