Around this time last year, Hi-Way Services Ltd was introduced to Surviving Christmas by Balfour Beatty Living Places. On 18th December, we had the opportunity to volunteer with them again, preparing hampers and donating clothes and toys to support the community during the Christmas period. It was a great day and always rewarding to take part.
Who are Surviving Christmas?
Surviving Christmas is a group of volunteer trustees and supported by the lead and regular volunteers who all live local in the area. The charity has been running for over 30 years. Surviving Christmas works hard to help relieve the hardship and distress to those most in need or vulnerable at this time of year.
Where do they help?
Their incredible work helps the communities of County Borough of Hastings, Rother District in East Sussex.
