Balfour Beatty Living Places has been reaching out on behalf of Drainline, for their Bottle Bonanza, in support of Children with Cancer Fund, by donating any unopened bottles for their tombola!
Hearing about this, we were excited to take part and support CWCF, sending out a few boxes of the requested items they’re accepting.
Who are Children with Cancer Fund?
CWCF was formed in July 1998 and is made up of a small team and local volunteers, with the aim to enable children and their families to have a quality life.
This ranges from giving them treats or buying something they may have missed out on, normally due to the fact that their money has been spent fighting the illness or burning up fuel going to and from the hospital for treatment.
CWCF has given a variety of wishes such as laptops, theatre breaks, football tickets, bedroom makeovers, providing cookers, dishwashers and more!
In addition to the individual wishes, they now take annually, several families away for short breaks, over recent years to the Isle of Wight.
CWCF has created some incredible memories and continue to do so with their amazing work. It’s because of what they do and the community coming together to help provide these opportunities that makes these moments so special!
