“This not only retains more heat – making it more carbon friendly – but also helps to reduce noise pollution”.
Our Littlehampton depot means a lot to us. As well as being our first point of expansion outside Kent – marking its 10th anniversary this year – Littlehampton is our main outpost in Sussex, operating alongside our site in Bexhill. As such, it’s pivotal to many of our most valued contracts, including East Sussex County Council and Brighton & Hove City Council.
As its importance grew, however, we knew it was in need of renovation. The former brick factory and attached buildings were beginning to look their age, and didn’t reflect the image we wanted to put across. The warehouse building also featured asbestos cladding, which required careful management to prevent it becoming a health & safety issue.
As such, we’re pleased to reveal our newly refurbished Littlehampton depot! The old cladding has been removed by specialist contractors, and replaced with approved 40mm cladding insulation. This not only retains more heat – making it more carbon friendly – but also helps to reduce noise pollution. This is only one element of a comprehensive overhaul, however, as you’ll see in the pictures below.
